Kopparberg is a town in Bergslagen, Sweden.
Koppar-berg means Copper Mountain, named after the copper mines that were in the 1700s, a major supply of the world's copper, and a considerable addition to Swedish coffers.
Kopparberg lies 80 km north of Sweden’s sixth most populous city, Örebro.
